My Journey X NIFT Delhi
-Chapter 2 (semester 2)
my journey had already began in 11th grade as a 16 year old when I began dreaming about making it to the finest design colleges of the country. After 2 years of practice and work I got AIR 11 in the NIFT 2024 exam and AIR 12 in the NID 2024 exam as well. There was no looking back and I started my journey in National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi as of August 2024.
This series primarily focuses on the work and projects I've done being in college and acts like a visual journal of sorts :)

EXPLORING ADOBE SUITE
In my second semester, I explored Illustrator and InDesign through diverse projects including a keychain design, a self portrait and brand patterns for a mock skincare line ‘Flora de Sol.’ I also created a Harry Potter inspired magazine envisioned for its fictional world and for my jury assignment designed a travel magazine capturing Delhi’s contemporary yet colourful spirit.
Reimagining Classics
In this subject, I created an artwork reimagining Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss in an Indian context, depicting the bond of mother and child. I painted the story of King Midas and the Golden Touch as a Greek-style ceiling artwork in acrylic, and designed a Ludo set inspired by Indian folk arts including Warli, Gond, Kalighat and Patachitra. Lastly, I represented the Shringhar Gharana through a queen’s card illustrated as day and night.

geometric product lamp
This multifunctional lamp draws inspiration from the dodecahedron and octahedron, reimagined into a playful hot air balloon form for a child’s room. Serving both as a soft, glowing night lamp and a pencil holder, it merges utility with imagination. Entirely ideated and hand-cut by me, the piece reflects creativity, precision, and thoughtful design for everyday living.
Chaska- integrated design project
For Chaska, we conducted extensive primary and secondary research through surveys, interviews, and observations to understand campus food preferences. We brainstormed ideas, developed brand strategies, designed a mascot, and created visual mockups. The project concluded with a comprehensive branding booklet showcasing the club’s identity, messaging, event concepts, and design applications.

Creative thinking tools
For my creative thinking class, I explored various ideation techniques like SCAMPER, assumption busting, and mind mapping to enhance problem-solving and innovation skills. Applying these methods, I transformed a simple pencil pouch into multiple creative and unconventional concepts, demonstrating how structured thinking tools can spark unique ideas and reimagine everyday objects.
Design fundamentals
For my design fundamentals course, I studied colour theory by painting value charts, colour wheels, and exploring colour relationships. I then created an inspiration project by closely observing a natural form, a butterfly, and translating its elements into three-dimensional patterns. This helped me understand how colour, form, and structure can work together in design.
